Are you ready to get Dirty Sexy with a Saint?

Clay Kincaid knows he's more a sinner than a saint. Especially when it comes to women. With a rough and damaged past that has left him jaded, he doesn't do committed relationships. But he does like sex–the hotter and harder, the better. He likes it fast and filthy, which is why he refuses to even touch someone as sweet and guileless as Samantha Jamieson. Until he discovers that she likes it just as down and dirty as he does. Let the sinning begin . . .
More Dirty Sexy Series coming in 2016!

"That's good, because I don't really want a saint," she taunted softly, as she dragged her tongue across her bottom lip, then smoked sensuously. "I want a sinner."

Good girl Samantha Jamieson has done what her parents expected of her her whole life. They chose the schools, the cars, the clothes and when they decided it was time to choose the husband, Samantha's days of being the good daughter came to an end.

After leaving her house with only the clothes on her back she ends up in a bar on the wrong side of town and face to face with every dirty fantasy she's every had in the form of Clay "Saint" Kincaid.

I loved that Samantha was the pursuer in this book. She set her sights on Saint and was relentless in her advances. She wanted him and wouldn't stop until she had him.

Saint has a dark and troubled past but his quiet strength and generous heart made him the ultimate alpha book boyfriend.

Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde were new authors for me and I was not disappointed. This book was a quick read but it pulled me in from the very first page and kept me interested the whole way through and kept the pages turning.

She had a small amount of cash on her, and there was no telling how much longer she'd have access to her credit cards before they were put on hold. She called a cab company, then got out of the car, tossed the keys and cell phone beneath the seat—since her father could track that, as well—and manually locked the door.
Within minutes, a taxi pulled up to where Samantha was waiting. The driver was a friendly young girl in her early twenties, and she was counting on the other woman to find her just the right place to celebrate her first night of freedom. A place where no one knew her or would judge her or would expect her to be the good girl she'd always been.
"My name is Angie." The girl glanced over her shoulder to the backseat with a friendly smile. "Where can I take you tonight?"
"To your favorite bar in the Chicago area."
Angie's brows rose in surprise as she took in Samantha's designer purse and high-end attire. "Are you sure about that? My favorite bar is a far cry from The Aviary," she said of the upscale lounge where the wealthy went to mingle and be seen. "The place I hang out at is a bit on the…unrefined side," she said with a laugh.
Samantha grinned. "That's exactly what I'm counting on."

Unspeakable Devotion
Fall in love with his best friend's sister? Danny Tortelli took care of that years ago.
Protecting and caring for her became his sole purpose the day her life was rocked to the core.
His ultimate goal was to show her how a real man loved a woman. He only had to bide his time.
A guy like Danny didn't give up on what he wanted, and what he wanted was Elle.
Unforgettable Damage
Fall in love with her brother's best friend? Elle Stratton had buried her love for Danny for years.
Damaged by her decisions and scarred by the baggage of her past, she believed she didn’t
deserve him. Self-doubt blinded her to how he felt. After all, he’d seen her at her ultimate
worst and witnessed the disaster of her life as it unfolded. Why would he want her?
Unimaginable Desire
He refused to wait any longer to prove a future with him was more than a possibility.
She was stuck in events of the past.
His hardest task was peeling back the layers of her self-preservation.
Her biggest challenge was accepting someone could love her.
Their time had come, and no one would stand in his way.
I took a deep breath and slipped into the room. If I said even one word, I’d give myself away. Justin was scheduled to work with Elle, and I wasn’t sure what her reaction would be if she knew it was me instead. Frank Sinatra’s buttery voice played softly in the background. Soft, relaxing lights bathed the table. Calming fragrance filled the air with a soothing scent. In my mind, Justin was due a promotion for setting the stage just right.
Elle was face down on the table, covered by the warming blanket. Lemongrass essential oil was my choice for her massage. Not only did she love the scent, but I knew her muscles were sore and tight. When I folded the blanket to expose her back, Luke’s constant preaching made sense. Backs and necks were sexy. I was an ass and tit man, but Elle’s skin was smooth, silky perfection. I wanted to trace her spine with my tongue, from her neck to her ass. She was flawless.
I focused my mind on the game and oiled up my hands. The second I touched her body, mine relaxed, and I felt an undeniable sense of home. My fingers kneaded the muscles in the small of her back, and when I pressed my palms up to her neck, she let a small moan. A moan that went straight from my ears, through my heart, to my aching cock. My continuous motions elicited more small noises of pleasure. Ones I’d wanted to hear for the last few years. I preferred to be buried deep inside her when she made them, but I would take whatever she gave me.
As I worked her the length of her legs, I fought to keep from whispering all the dirty thoughts in my head. How I wanted her legs wrapped around my waist when I pounded into her. How I needed them squeezing around my neck when I drove her wild with my tongue.
Seeing almost every inch of Elle was better than I ever imagined. For a person who didn’t work out and never watched what she ate, her body was in great shape. I wanted to worship her with my mouth instead of my hands. After a taste of her last night, I prayed that tonight I would have another and another.
“Elle, it’s time to roll over. Turn toward your right.” In case she threw me out of the room, my greedy eyes traveled over her one last time.
As soon as she recognized my voice, her body tensed for a second before relaxing again. No, I wasn’t Justin.
Slow movements transferred her from her stomach to her back. Even though I snuck into her room like a creeper to massage her without her permission, I turned my head to give her privacy. Her silence was scaring the crap out of me.
When I turned and looked at her face, our eyes connected. What I saw relieved me of my fears. Hers were warm, loving, and full of a lust I’d never seen.
“Are you going to say something?”
“What you just did to my body was single handedly the most arousing thirty minutes of my life. It felt so good, but the whole time I wished it was you and not Justin.”
“Every single one of your moans made my cock throb. God, I love your body.” I leaned down and placed a chaste kiss on her plump lips.
Elle wrapped her hands around my neck and deepened the kiss, plunging her tongue in my mouth.
Before I lost control, I pulled away. “I want you so bad, but we aren’t doing this here on a tiny spa table when there’s a limit to our time together. I want you sprawled out on my bed when I have all night and all day to worship your body over and over again.”

She hooked one leg over mine, and I rocked my hips into her pelvis to let her feel what she’d done to me. Lacey groaned. “I take it you liked the massage.”
“What gave me away?” I asked, breathing hard against her neck.
“A certain wayward southern appendage.” She ground into me again, her hips moving against mine. I almost chuckled. Almost called her out for being too prissy to say the word cock . . . until her hand slid down to my jeans to unbutton me.
“Maybe he needs some attention too,” she rasped against my throat.
I hadn’t come here for this and wouldn’t have pressed her, but I also wasn’t going to turn her away. We would take things at whatever pace she wanted. Tugging down the zipper to her shorts, I was desperate to touch her and bring her pleasure. I pushed my hand inside her shorts, fumbling when she reached down to grip my denim-covered erection. Christ.
My fingers soon found what they were looking for. She gasped as I rubbed in slow circles through her panties. Even with the cotton barrier, I could feel the firm bud of her swollen clit. I sucked in a breath when she tightened her fist, kneading my hard cock.
“Together,” was all she said. But I understood. Only a little impatiently, I waited until she had unzipped my jeans before slipping my fingers under her panties. I gave a soft groan at the feel of her hot, slick folds.
“God, baby, you’re so wet already.”
“All for you,” she murmured huskily. “Touch me, please.”
I obeyed in a heartbeat, echoing her moan when she pulled my cock free and started stroking up and down with whisper-soft strokes.

There are some debts you can’t repay.

Josh Walker is loyal, reckless, and every girl’s dream. But he only has eyes for December Howard, the girl he's craved since his high school hockey days. Together they have survived grief, the military, distance, and time as they’ve fought for stolen weekends between his post at Ft. Rucker and her college at Vanderbilt. Now that Josh is a medevac pilot and Ember is headed toward graduation, they’re moving on—and in—together.

Ember never wanted the Army life, but loving Josh means accepting whatever the army dictates—even when that means saying goodbye as Josh heads to Afghanistan, a country that nearly killed him once before and that took her father. But filling their last days together with love, passion, and plans for their future doesn’t temper Ember’s fear, and if there’s one thing she’s learned from her father’s death, it’s that there are some obstacles even love can’t conquer.

Flight school is over.
This is war.

EXCERPT #1
I pushed my chair out and reached for her, lifting her tiny, curved frame into my lap. Her head tucked beneath my chin, and she curled into me, fitting right where she was always meant to be. My arms closed around her. “We have a month.”
“It’s not long enough.” Her fingers gripped my shirt like she could keep me here if she just held on tight enough. God, what I wouldn’t have given to stay with her.
“Forever isn’t long enough for us, December, but that’s what we’re going to have. You and I have never chosen the easy path. This is just another hurdle.” I rubbed my chin over her soft hair and tried to soak in every detail of holding her—the sweet way she smelled, the smooth texture of her skin beneath my hands.
She leaned back in my arms and cupped my face. “I can’t lose you.” Her voice broke, and tears pooled in her eyes.
I’d never hated myself more than I did in that moment. She’d made it through a nightmare no one should have to face, and I was about to ask her to chance that fire again. My breath hitched, barely passing the lump in my throat. “You won’t. It would take something a hell of a lot stronger than a war to keep me from you.”
I sealed that promise with a kiss, tasting her fear and desperation as she responded. She opened underneath me, and I fused my mouth to hers, surrendering to the heat between us to pull us through this moment. There was nothing hotter or sweeter in this world than kissing December, feeling her go soft and pliant.
We’d fought so fucking hard to get here, to be together. This wasn’t fair, and we both knew it. But we also both knew it didn’t matter. Fair wasn’t exactly in the U.S. Army vocabulary.
I retreated just enough to whisper against her lips, “I’ll come home. I swear it.”

Excerpt #2
I pulled her onto my lap, gently squeezing the sweet curves of her hips.
“Behave,” she whispered into my ear, but ran her tongue along the edge.
My fingers flexed, teasing under the edges of the black skirt that had slid higher on her thighs as she sat. I couldn’t help it—her skin was a magnet for my hands. “You like it better when I don’t,” I answered.
She locked those blue eyes on mine, and for that second, I wanted everyone to go the fuck away so I could get my remarkable girlfriend out of her clothes. Not a girlfriend for long. Not if I found the perfect moment for that little velvet box hidden upstairs.
Mrs. Walker. December-fucking-Walker. Sounded perfect to me.
“Earth to Josh and Ember,” Jagger called, waving his hand like he’d been at it a while.
“Yeah, yeah, a toast,” Ember said, wiggling against my now-hard lap. I locked her down with my hands, and she threw me a smug grin, well aware of what she’d done.
Jagger raised his beer. “To friends. Hell, that doesn’t even cut it. You guys, all of you...I wouldn’t be here”—he looked over to Paisley—“or even the man I am, without you. So more than friends...to family.”
We glanced around the fire at the family we’d made, and I felt it—one of those moments you can’t forget, the kind that stay with you when it’s long past, so you try to memorize everything. It was a deep peace, a contentment laced with the silent knowledge that we wouldn’t be together again for far too long.
“To family,” we all said in scattered rhythm, and I kissed the underside of Ember’s jaw.

My 5 star review of Hallowed Ground

“You and me against the world, right?”

The Flight and Glory series from Rebecca Yarros is quite possibly my favorite series of all time. Not only does she write brilliant stories, she has freaking bad ass characters that draw you in, like a moth to the flame. I feel like over the course of two years- Josh, Ember, Jagger, Paisley, Grayson, Sam, Will, all the other supporting characters have become my friends. I have fallen in love with their love stories, I have cried with them on occasion, I have felt the pain that they have felt, and I have watched these characters walk away stronger than ever before. I have so many words for Rebecca, but they are all stuck in my head right now. Getting them on paper is going to be near impossible, but I am going to try.

"When it comes to you, to how much I love you… I have no morals. No honor. I would lie, cheat, murder, steal, dishonor everything I hold dear if it meant spending my life with you. No measure of duty, or God, or country could ever make up for losing you…"

This story, is the most special and close to my heart. For one, it is the end of a fantastic series, and I will cherish these books for as long as I live. And two, Josh Walker has been my favorite book boyfriend, for a long time- he is a tie right up there with Jake Green from Penelope Ward. He has it all. He has wit, and charm, charisma, and his chemistry with Ember is off the charts. Ember is also my favorite heroine- EVER, from any book that I have ever read. She is strong, stubborn, independent, and my kind of woman. She would be my best friend- if she were real.

“Once upon a time you promised to be my whatever. Do you remember that?”
“I could never forget.”
“Then remember this. I’ll be your whatever. Whatever you need, whenever you need it. I’m strong enough to pull us both through this.”

Josh and Ember together is kismet, meant to be in every way. They have fought so, so hard to make their relationship work. From a long distance relationship while Ember is in school, to deployments in Afghanistan while Josh is fighting for our country. They deserve each other, but most importantly- they deserve to be happy. They accept each other, flaws and all. And that is one of the most gorgeous things that we can all remember. Love is hard, it’s gritty and tough- but in the end, it’s worth it. Even though I felt Ember and Josh had a “happy” ending, entering those characters into a whole other story- had me on pins and needles from the prologue.

“I cannot imagine a future where you’re not mine, because I’m yours in every sense of the word.”

Rebecca has a way of gutting me, to the core with her writing. It is so emotional and I know it stems from a very personal place- which makes it even more important. She writes from one spectrum to the other- from happy to sad, joyous to heartbreaking, sexy and steamy, to super serious. And she covers everything to make the stories feel so real. The thing about this story was I was scared- terrified to be honest.
You change me every day, make me want to be a better man for you.”

Reading Rebecca’s writing is like witnessing true badassery at its finest (it’s a word, I looked it up…) She knows what to write and how to kill you over and over, with just a sentence. She knows how to bring that heat and fire in the scenes with all of her characters. And she has a heart the size of Texas, she does, and you can really tell she writes with all of her. And HELL YES to the epilogue. Thank you Rebecca, thank you for writing, thank you for this series, thank you for these characters that have seeped into my soul for the rest of time.

Title: Good-bye, with Love.

Have you ever wished you could have something so bad, even though you knew it was forbidden?
Jonathan Gates was just that—forbidden. He was everything I could ever want in a man: charming, a great listener, open-minded, and funny. It also didn't hurt that he was easy on the eyes.
We'd been through a lot together: breakups, makeups, firsts, lasts, and anything else you can imagine. I was once told he was my soul mate, but I refused to believe that.
I didn't want to love him. I didn't want to fall for him because...he was my best friend!
But I did, and I fell for him hard. I was in love with my best friend, and it was time he knew how I really felt.
MICKEY ROSE’S DIARY
Age: Sixteen
Diary Entry: Broken
Dear Diary,
Here I am again, bawling my eyes out, heartbroken, and feeling so numb that I’m scaring myself. I feel like I’m being punished for wanting to love someone. Why is love such a tormenting thing for me? I wish someone could take the feeling of love away from me so I wouldn’t keep getting hurt. My heart feels like someone put their hand on my chest and dug their nails into my heart until it was a second away from stopping.
When will it stop? The pain of rejection—that’s what this has to be. Once I fall for someone and make it clear they’re all I want, they slap me in my face and tell me with their actions that they don’t love me in the same way, whether they mean to or not. It took me a while to let him back in after the last time and now it’s happening all over again and I can’t face this hurtful truth. I never thought he’d put me through this again and now that I’m older and really understand what true love means, I didn’t think I’d be here all alone again.
This was complete bull and the stupid note he left didn’t make things any better. How could he do this to me? And leave me a note so vague I don’t even know why he’s really leaving? Who would try to hurt his family?
I tried so hard not to fall for him again and what does he do? He takes my heart, stomps on it, and buries it in the dirt.
I can’t deal with this right now. Screw you Jonathan Gates. Even if it takes me years, I will get over you, and you better not try and weasel your way back into my life.
Good-bye to this chapter of my life. It’s time to grow up and enjoy the next few years.
-Michelle

My 3.5  star review of Good-bye, with Love

I really enjoyed this story from Niquel. It was beautifully written and emotional, just like i like them.

This is the story of Johnny and Mickey who meet when they are 12 year olds. Mickey is going through the wringer for sure, and Johnny definitely sticks beside her, until he no longer can.

The majority of the book is told from the 12-14 age range which I was ok with, because I knew something fabulous would happen.

The last third of the book was a little more mature, and it definitely had an HEA. I would say that under 18 is not recommended because of certain situations, toward the end and it being a pretty heavy book.

I enjoyed this book and would refer it to my reader friends for a heartfelt love story between friends that turn into more.
